“y'all weird fetishes for black ppl is weird, lookin at u thomas with ur weeknd obsession.” is an insane thing to say because im a FAN of ONE certain artist. Like how the F*** am I fetishizing black people by being a fan of The Weeknd? Someone who most people on this claim is music “for white people” anyway?

I don’t claim to be a hip-hop head, I’m not on here pretending to be black, I’m not in here telling people they’re wrong, I’m not even in here telling YOU you’re wrong, because you’re not. This whole post is facts but this personal attack on me because I made a joke post in a joke thread? You gonna sit here and tell me the OP of this thread made this in order to spark a real discussion or was he just mad because he got called a c***in a music sxn thread?

peep my post above abt how american white ppl are basically just Europeans who sold their soul for personal gain. s*** is literally a faustian bargain, white supremacy being the devil in this a***ogy.

remember, Faust becomes the devil's slave in the end, literally existing as the earthly embodiment of his will. He does this all for material gain.

Is that really so different from the story of white culture? It has converted so many people who once had such rich and authentic culture into hollow shells who spend most of their lives serving white supremacy. And again, this is done entirely for material reasons.

I think it can definitely be argued that "white culture" and white people resemble the Faustian archetype. Even if we're not saying they're literal embodiments of the devil's will, we can at least acknowledge the parallels.
