It’s kinda funny looking at how the virus has been handled under each President. The vaccines started rolling out under Trump, 2 stimulus checks were passed under Trump, more strict regulations under Trump. Some 220,000 deaths under Biden despite the vaccine being out for the entirety of his presidency, one stimulus check, and loosening regulations.

Realistically, what has Biden done that Trump wasn’t doing on an actual policy level? Obviously he isn’t downplaying the virus in speeches every other day which helps, and a big part of the reason people aren’t getting the Vaccine probably falls on Trump’s rhetoric towards the virus. But as far as actual policy goes, was Biden’s only plan to roll out vaccinations, which was always the plan once they were available?

The Trump administration had no vaccine distribution plan though.

They had operation warpspeed, which had laid out a plan to distribute the vaccine as early as May 2020. There were complications in the early days as the vaccine took time to get mass produced and distributed. But the quote that there was no plan in place comes from Biden’s administration and isn’t really accurate.

Now, has the distribution improved? Yes. Would a bumpy start have been avoidable under Biden? Guess we’ll never know

loool the vaccinated can spread the "disease" just as easily and can still get it...why would i get the vaccine when i can still get covid? lmaoo. me and you can still get and possibly die from covid but only you can die from the vax the more people get vaccinated the stronger variants will become....

You can get Covid and spread it even if being vaccinated, yes, but you’re having a probability of like 99% not to die from Covid.

Dug a little deeper and whoever made that comment did make it seem like the transition process was as chaotic as they said it was when it really wasn't.

Yeah, when you look at the rollout, within a month of the first vaccine being given there were 20 million people vaccinated, and then a week later Biden came into office. The initial rollout was focused on healthcare workers and seniors, which I thought was a good place to focus. Then the vaccine supply increased and opened to the public within a few months. I don’t think it would have transpired too much differently under Trump.

I think we may have seen more vaccinations under Trump, solely because I’m pretty sure his supporters are making up a large portion of the unvaccinated
