This has been a question I've been wondering about for over a year now but have never heard an answer and almost never even hear it talked about.

Clearly Young Thug has a very strong love for Lil Keed. He took him under his wing and directly brought him into the attention of the hip-hop world on a platter, and hip-hop fans obviously responded extremely well to Keed. Now it's been over a year and a half since Thug broke Keed to the world, and Keed is a prominent figure in rap. To this day, Thug posts about Keed all the time, posts every time Keed drops, features Keed on his projects (and drops features on Keed projects), etc.

However, I almost NEVER see Thug showing love to Gotit. I understand that when Thug signed Keed to YSL, Gotit was barely a rapper and his music wasn't amazing by any stretch (although I would argue it wasn't too far off from Keed's early stuff that got him signed) and he obviously had 0 popularity. So from that alone, I can understand why Thug initially signed Keed & not Gotit. However, at this point, Gotit has established himself as a very real player in hip-hop, receives praise from all the same figures that praise Keed (uzi, gunna, karlae, etc), yet Thug seems to maintain a distance from Gotit. They rarely ever collab (despite Gotit's sound being so similar to Keed's that it's actually undeniable that Gotit x Thug would be similarly, if not equally good to Keed x Thug), Thug never posts Gotit, Thug never made Gotit YSL, and just in general since I started paying attention, it seems like Thug does not f*** with Gotit.

Does anyone know if there are any specific reasons why Thug has never embraced Gotit (and seemingly actively chooses to NOT embrace him, given how close his ties are with everyone that Thug associates with)?? Or maybe I've just been missing the cases in which he has? if so please point out

Gotit respects Thug a lot, I’m guessing something happened behind the scenes that may have made Thug distance himself from Gotit.

Plus Gotit is leaning hard into being a son of Gunna now so I don’t see him having any issues with YSL maybe those two got off on bad terms and never fixed it

I feel like Gotti could’ve eventually signed to YSL but jumped the gun and went with Alamo. Probably rubbed Thug the wrong way.

Yeah meant to include in OP that it's clear (at least from IG) that Gotit loves Thug just as much as Keed does. Literally posts him/about him/shows him love just as much as Keed does, but it's literally never reciprocated by Thug which I just find strange

This would actually make a lot of sense. I know in an interview Keed talked about how he's always been way more mature than Gotit, so I could see it being something like Thug thinking Gotit needed to mature more and Gotit didn't want to wait or something like that

Gotit claims to be the Son of Gunna (who is the son of Thug) also Gotit isnt signed to YSL from what I remember, but Keed is. Basically he is keed to thug, to what he is to gunna

I actually do recall too a couple of specific instances in which Thug has specifically been NOT f***ing w Gotit (but can't think of any where he is)

Also thug is kinda close to Gotit but he likes Keed more since hes known him the most. They talk and arent on bad terms

Yeah i kinda assumed this and though it was just bc Gotit isn't signed YSL, but idk i feel like at this point there just has to be something behind the scenes bc there are countless examples of Thug showing love (even promoting) artists that aren't YSL, which obviously doesn't completely mean that Thug doesnt fw Gotit. Just find it really strange that he shows love to other artists that aren't YSL but never shows love to Gotit, who is literally blood connected to YSL and very very deeply connected with literally everyone that Thug surrounds himself with

Yeah that definitely makes things make more sense to a certain extent. Definitely doesn't fully explain how he still never shows Gotit love though

You don't really see him hanging out with dudes way younger than him and promoting them, besides Lil Keed, who is YSL
