but if he had access to the production that Drake has been content to waste those autopilot flows and relatively basic content on, casual rap fans would put more respect on his name

Kinda feel like Drake's production choices got less consistent when the 40 pipeline dried up. As far as pop rap crossover, I'm taking DAMN's beats over CLB's.

I do think Kendrick's production on Morale and GNX sometimes punches below his weight. But TPAB and DAMN are immaculately produced albums.
