    (from NFL’s channel youtu.be/SDPITj1wlkg)

    after that performance:

    • accused for being anti police
    • accused of using blm for sales (didn’t sell the song, video unlisted)
    • people were asking for a boycott
    • police said they weren’t going to secure her world tour
    • construction man from her tour said he would sabotage her stage
    • got shot out of genre category at the grammys etc
    • got universal acclaim at the release
    • went #1
    • no one questioned his attention
    • swept the Grammys (won ROTY & VOTY)
    • was called the new Kanye

those songs have a similar topic but why one got so much hate? 🤨 #roomates

formation was huge lol, but this is america got clout from being a meme above all else. the fact that it was a social statement came second.

that part when he kills the black church is just extra for me like I know what he meant but s*** we already get to see black people dying all over social media I don’t need to see that in a video for an “anthem”

Video is better, “deep” visuals in it + song title is said in 96% injustice posts

A no brainer in why it was bigger than formation

Also, Beyoncé is a woman. And women don’t get the respect they deserve.

    1. Formation sucks
    2. Pre-Trump America. Formation would’ve been bigger than TIA in 2018.

it’s not about chart success (she already made sure it wouldn’t chart), it’s about how people reacted to it. TIA wasn’t met with a lot of controversy when he was more explicit

He shoots a Black man in the beginning too for peacefully playing the guitar and is chased by a mob at the end. The visuals are supposed to f*** you up fam.

I generally disagree with this statement but in this case I absolutely think it applies

Formation is better on every level. People hate giving bey her props.

  • Jun 3, 2020

It’s not as good of a song.

  • Wasn’t TIA a meme? Then people realised the social message after
