Being able to be creative for a living (and being able to make exponentially more money than most other fields as a bonus) is much more enticing than simply fame

If fame is what motivates you then you’re doomed from the jump

    ehhhh this aint necessarily true.

Whenever you turn your passion into your job, eventually it becomes just a job.

That's why you have artists at they prime becoming depressed, sometimes even ODing. The love of something that kept them grounded for their whole lives no longer exists.

Imagine instead of creating just to create, now you have to create to fill a quota. You're a prisoner to now having to create partially to what your "audience" wants or else you risk "falling off" or just being weird.
