is this fr true? thought this was a meme lmao

    It's a meme. He's bullshitting

  • Dot uses existing elements of music to make next level s***. That's actually pretty difficult to achieve. And not everyone is Ye in terms of reinventing their sound

    Not every goat has influence

  • Nov 25, 2019

sorry Kendrick so hard to imitate it must be because he sucks and is so unoriginal

  • Nov 25, 2019

    Because he’s just another rapper

That’s what happens when you go the lyrical miracle spiritual route

  • Nov 25, 2019

Because his sound is not that easy to replicate he's not like a Young Thug where he has a bunch of clones that copy his one aesthetic.

Ay after hearing that Baby Keem album, HUMBLE sounds just so....different lol

Like we see where that came from lol

  • Nov 25, 2019

    What's there to copy.

The only thing about him that really stands out is he chipmunk pre-puberty voice. Not a lot of people want to copy that. I mean even Baby Keem sounds a little weird with it, but he makes it work.

  • Nov 25, 2019

thank god nobody copying that doo-doo-doo flow. Always thought kendrick’s voice was wack tbh

    Americana 2

cuz his emphasis is more on creating thought provoking narratives over preexisting, yet developed sound rather than sonic innovation

As it should be, mfs worried too much about the next thing rather than enjoy the genius of ones work

no it’s a serious thread i really wanna know how a top 10 rapper of all time arguably has such little influence

Look at Em. One of the greatest, though he had a huge impact and broke many records. He’s barely acknowledged as influential, even tho he is

He's barely acknowledged as influential by people who are 16, sure but those people dont matter in rap. Em clearly top 5 most influential.

You said you see where that came from( I’m assuming you’re talking about humble) are you talking about the song, the sound, or something else?

  • Nov 25, 2019
