Idk about all that. People say that abouf youngboy and lil peep and I f*** with them tough. Gunna and lil baby never did anything for me because they come off as this like safe version of thugger who hood cats can listen too because thugger is too "gay & eccentric." for them. But I think even a guy like 21 savage on a feature does more for a song than lil baby (excluding exposure) because he brings this rugged sound I'm not exactly sure what baby is accomplishing on his features, is he killing everyone on them?? listen to the rap caviar or rap life playlist , its 70-80% lil baby songs or features. I felt the same way till i really started paying attention to how much he gets featured. And he had the best selling album of all artist last year. I haven't seen anyone dominate the game like lil baby is right now since wayne went on his run. He's in the same spot as wayne was in 2007 right before C3 dropped imo. He just has to deliver with this next project

I believe it but what is he doing is he killing everyone on there s***?? Is it the exposure to his fanbase? I don't get it. Maybe he's there popularity wise. But Wayne was on another f***ing planet if you got a Wayne feature you already knew you were getting killed on that s*** and you could care less because he added so much to the song.

Thug’s most succesful album is the one where he sounds like Lil Baby (smf) he himself knows whats going on.
This is a case of Thug walking so Baby could run. Baby looked at what Thug did right and what he did wrong. Baby took out the wrong and added to the things he did right then ran with it. Mind you, Baby isn’t as melodic as thug but he’s bettet at rapping which is more respected in Hip-hop. Also his image & music is completely different. He just has influence.
You should listen to Baby’s catalogue and features recently tbh. Dude is killing everybody.

Those things that your saying thug did wrong are the things I love about thug. And sure lil baby might be better than thug at rapping but he has him beat in so many other aspects it's not even funny. I honestly have nothing against lil baby and wish him all the success in the world hes just never done much for me not like thugger who is super fun to listen too. Those wayne vibes you're talking about I get them from youngboy who is the only new rapper I really f*** with. I like the Griselda guys too but not as much as youngboy. Dababy is actually really dope too he's just not the type of guy I sit and listen to on my free time like that you know but he can rap his ass off just like lil baby he snaps sometimes I'm not gonna lie I heard emotionally scarred he's just not a rapper that does a lot for me.
