Fr tho I just found those albums to be weaker than his earlier works and indicative of him trying to find that mainstream pocket. Both albums have great songs but also some stinkers like Dark Times and Losers for example

He perfected the mainstream sound with After Hours IMO

I have to disagree there. I even had a friend who hated After Hours and ended up loving Dawn FM

At the end of the day it’s all subjective tho
