Why is this about drake again
Because the Drake stan I was responding to brought him up. and now I'm responding to DRAKElive2021 with one of the cringest avi's I've seen.
Imagine succeeding with nike, Adidas, and GAP, and not venturing on your own and still being willing to be robbed by these big corporations LMAO
Ignorant statement
These are all collabs, he owns all of the yeezy brand
They are just the distributors

This is how this works
Ye gets 15% of every yeezy sale , thats 3 times what mj makes
Do you know much money you would need to produce quality shoes like yeezys on mass? He literally tried it with clothes, cause LV f***ed him over
And lost loads of money

I mean hey if you cool with not getting what you're worth and just getting scraps of what these companies throw you then I mean yea.
Not like it worked for Spitta, Master P, tech n9ne, Jay Z, or anyone else right

Like I said prior. Not arguing Ye isn't obsessed/jealous of Drake's success. Just that it isn't a focal point in his own music.
As far as the T swift thing I mean Drake was really running s*** during the Views rollout (album was disappointing af tho) and Drake was piping Larsa and Kris Jenner.
The Drake Khaled thing was facts, that song was overplayed and annoying while Pablo and Blonde couldn't get any spins. He was just pointing out the flaws in the industry that still are/have always/and will continue to be relevant. He literally said "We love Drake, but we love Frank Ocean too", wasn't really all that bad.
nah I agree with you that it isn't a focal point, I just think the dude you were arguing with meant he just has had an influence.

Idk what the first part of your post means, but Ima take it as you being a fan so thanks for listening.
As for your second part he did it by cooning and being a pawn... so does it really matter?
Very very f***ing weird. Especially considering that Kanye’s music was still being streamed damn near just as much as Drake’s.
His most commercial album was a tidal exclusive for three months and yet around the time of its release he still complained that Drake was on the radio more
No f***ing s***!
That lets you know that there’s something wrong with that nigga in the head.
TLOP would’ve done a milli first week if it was released properly. It remains the most pirated album of all time on release. 500k downloads on thepiratebay alone in the first 24hrs.
If Kanye wasn’t so focused on Drake, he’d see that he was still getting just as much plays as him, with far less effort (promotion and marketing wise)
I think he’s so internally conflicted with wanting to stay true to his art and also wanting to be mainstream. He could easily put out an album that’d be full of number 1 hits. It’d be amazing if he just said f*** it and stayed true to his art instead of trying to please anyone, but that man is too tortured. Even with Yeezus, his most experimental album, he could only talk about making hits and chart numbers. Idk why he cares so much
I’m sure drake is trying and you have to consider that with his mob leverage, he can likely force her to get with him by threats. But drake being #1 in rap already tore Kanye apart and made him a bad artist and less stable person, just less secure in general and destroyed his ego armor that he had until 2010. I hate to imagine the worst case scenario but If there’s even a whisper in the gossip scene about Kim and drake going on a date, that would undoubtedly be the end of Kanye west. So I really hope it doesn’t happen but I have to think drake is pulling out all the stops
true ye is a mad jealous, insecure person as much as I love him but that's mostly confined to music
Drake doesn't and never had the sauce to pull a billionaire mother of 4
and I doubt ye'd 'end' himself if miraculously he does
