People are gonna complain about “rollout being ass” for months after drop. People are complain there is “no story” and “all the songs sound different” yet “same old 80s synth for the third album”. It always come back to the same we want Trilogy Abel s***, people here don’t like his pop s***.

We got people STILL complaining about AH and Dawn which are masterpieces and his most complete projects of his career. Cause in no universe are they not good, even if you prefer the old sound.

I’m a huge Weeknd fan but ngl I swear the whole The Idol show debacle severely impacted his musical careeer and ruined the whole image he’s created for The Weeknd bc the strangeness and crassness of the show was so terribly acted, I feel like it’s tough to take his Weeknd character persona “seriously” anymore since the illusion kinda been shattered

The only ppl who cry about “no story” in this new era are his fans who treat him like a MCU character

like after hours is one of the most universally love mainstream album to come out this decade on this site
