He’s all about lasting power rather than initial impact. That being said I’m hardly listening to any of the singles and he’s one of my favourite artists ever.
I was so excited for the final chapter but I’ll wait for the album to judge anything. I know he’s got classics coming

he’s been running w a sound since 2019 that people were already cooling out on by early 2022. committing to the trilogy idea (which i do respect) locked him into this in a sense, and i think the loss of his aura with The Idol and his over saturation (bro’s been dropping music nonstop for 5 years, last summer he basically dropped 5 weekly EPs lol) have contributed to this new project not feeling like an event like AH did
