Flows, deliveries, concepts, schemes, punchlines, imagery, hooks, hits. You name it, Eminem did it bigger and better.

Mac was a likable guy who put a lot of personality in his music. But it was pretty modest all told. He had a lot of fun. I can't speak to the less rap stuff. But the rap stuff is not GOAT s***

    it’s all about aura now ( * 2slimey voice * ) “catch up.”

this take is about to blow your mind but i heard the osamason album and while i didnt care for it i think it had some good songs

    net album wasnt too interesting

my biggest problem with new artists is that they dont care to make albums and i only judge by albums. i dont care to listen to yall snippets and s*** same way i didnt care to listen to soundcloud leaks in the mid 10s nor radio freestyles prior to that nor mixtape vol 1512 prior to that

if the Zack Bia link up didn’t turn you off Yeat cause he was finally being himself (corny, raised around wealthy white people in a 90% white city) before pivoting back to his cosplay, then nothing will lol. s*** so sad where we at in hiphop, ya’ll got it man lmfao

One thing @Valentine is saying that is very VERY true (and probably getting killed for it cause it's like...maybe 6-7 of us on this site that's actually from the city, ironic considering how crazy influential we have been to hip hop for better and most definitely for worse) is it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many white kids today that are sounding like "that" and have never stepped foot on Fulton Industrial.

And when you sound like "that" and I look at where they are from, it is hard to find sincerity in whatever music you are making because in my head all I'm seeing is a version of Malibu's Most Wanted but replace Malibu with Cascade.

This kid nettspend is from Virginia dawg lol. I really do also want these kids to stop donning their best "atlanta cosplay" and just learn how to be themselves.

The main difference between now and back then is, back then, you could work out the kinks of your own music when you had influences on your sleeves and drop the early mixtapes. Nowadays, you gotta have a whole career now before you even old enough to drive so now we have people that are literally making careers off another person/region's sound and they aint even been to College Park.

Anycia recently called it out (moreso people in Atlanta that's over-exaggerating the accent but yea)

great post. always appreciate your well thought out responses dawg. they still not gonna get it, even thought it’s painfully obvious. the reason I brought up Mac was cause he used to get destroyed heavily for being a derivative of Wiz. look what’s happening to Harlow right now. but when we come to this genre of “rap” for some reason, these dudes just move with ignorance is bliss, “you’re an unc” bullshit responses and explanations about dudes life that don’t explain to me why he, or any of these dudes like Yeat, talk like me or my neighbor who grew up in the heart of city when they learned it all online from their black friends. that s*** is nasty work and idc, I’m not accepting that s*** until they start being themselves. when Yeat flopped, cause he knows his true self corny as f***, these “fans” didn’t accept it. sad s*** smdh

we are well aware these 2 have fans.

we are also old enough and well aware enough to not be peer pressured into liking someone simply because "they have fans" lmao

    kids are stupid man

like they wanna use that prerequisite then we gotta say tung tung tung sahur is relevant. :B

My 3rd graders love that song so it's relevant now :B
