what is the deal with drop of first few episodes and then they drop episode by episode weekly? - i noticed that many streaming services do that , only netflix drops all at once..... if you drop episode by episode cool do it , but it is somehow shady move.

The deal is you try and hook people with the first few episodes, then you drip feed the rest of the season and keep people subscribed for longer than they might have if the season dropped entirely on one day.

ah subs i get it , but i would be cool if episodes drop episode by episode too and if you put 3 episodes already you can drop whole season like netflix...... but im guess that is not a good model for everybody then......

Netflix can keep people subscribed because they're market leader and just smother people with the quantity of shows they drop. Not an achievable model for most competitors.
