Used to be a Stan of him few years ago, loved 4eva is a mighty long time (I think it’s a generation masterpiece), bunch of classic tapes too despite being kinda one dimensional

But since 4eva….he hasn’t been dropping anything noteworthy and some of the music is even downright laughably bad.

Krit Iz Here feels like…well his Crash Talk where it’s full of tryhard mainstream radio bait tracks. Though it does have some hard ass bangers, mid ass album

That Digital roses album or whatever the f*** that was…dude attempted some neo soul sound filled with great value Outkast/Pharrell type songs

For this reason I don’t have much desire to play his stuff anymore, nevermind the fact that he doesn’t mix his percs loud enough either

he experimented his last two projects, and they werent executed well

he spazzed on that wiz collab album tho. he's still got it but he's in a weird space because he got caught up making the same music for years and then started experimenting

idk man it sucks. there's some good songs on the new albums, but they're not competing with his old s***. there's a not a single song on any of those joints thats on the level of Keep the Devil Off

Man I just want a regular rap album from him next time, it’s clear he falls flat every time he attempts to “experiment”

For me he started switching up his sounds(not a bad thing) on his last few projects but the execution didn't come out well. And to be honest I was bored of his usual Pimp Cish sound he always done and wanted something new. He got creatively stuck in a hard place once he had to tone down the sampling tbh

Used to play that album so much back when it came out, I’ll say it’s the best double album of 2010’s in rap

It was OK. I don't care for Wiz too much so I was never gonna be super engaged with it

I liked the digital roses album but idk I revisited some songs and they weren't hitting like that tbh. I'll try again later tho

dude dropped like 3 or 4 great great projects not everyone can say that plus he's been experimenting next album might be a return

definitely I just want a pure southern hip hop album with nothing experimental. I want smooth riding around music, I want deep meaningful music and I want fun party songs. I don't want any weird s*** or him singing or anything and I don't want any stereotypical modern rap beats

krit iz here was a rap album but it was just flat to me. he tried to make more accessible rap but it didnt work tbh
