The bigger artists should drop side project/mixtapes for now tbh
But if Abel had a great year despite the shutdown, I’m sure guys like Kendrick and them can do the same too
Dudes like Kendrick don’t make “side projects”

Those are okay.
You think that’s a side project? Why?
Man you know what I was getting at when I said Side Project/Mixtape. It wasn’t an album so it was definitely something to give to the fans lol

That’s a project of leftovers from the project he was focused on
I’m just saying those artists from the 2009-2012 class don’t drop “deluxe” bullshit like the youngins
Why yall say lowkey obvious s*** like yall putting us on game.
Hate this s***. Don’t word obvious things like you just came up with the answer to quantum physics
we're in a global pandemic right now -- can't enjoy music at parties, people aren't commuting, everyday is the same, etc. our perception of time is f***ed. artists can't tour.
when we exit these lockdowns and covid is deemed not a threat, we'll experience a major psychic transition as a culture. free again, it'll be like the Roaring 20s.
and that'll be a moment. an extremely memorable moment. it's like choosing the first thing you do when you get out of jail: the albums you hear will be the soundtrack for the inevitable return to normal life again.
Yeah until the next pandemic in 2 years
We really are f***ed. But that’s a conversation for another time
Also because the new artists who are major don’t feel major because the music isn’t good enough
got the whole seinfeld cast on here
This is slightly uneducated but my guess
Everyone dropped in 2020, or just about anyone major who cared enough too.
We still in the pandemic and you can’t tour, and it looks like it’s gonna be that way for a while still so no point in dropping music you can’t tour with.
Atleast in 2020 you could capitalize off the quarantine/COVID hype since everyone was indoors, but now I feel where were in this weird limbo where (atleast in the US) it’s not major quarantine/lockdown anymore but not everything is 100% open like pre covid.
So it’s gonna be that way for as long as places are still following covid guidelines
