DVLPRThat’s fine as long as Nolan never asked Christian Bale to put his feet in front of the camera while Nolan in this hypothetical case was a known foot fetishist and Bale was insecure about his toes, thus feeling uncomfortable about the idea of satisfying Nolan’s fetish.
Would it make any difference if he was into t*** instead ? Because there's a lot of nudity in films and lots of directors with fetishes for breasts

If the actress is fine with it there’s no problem.
It’s like daenerys. When she was up and coming she got naked probably due to the pressure, but once she got bigger she refused to keep doing it.

Okay so the actual issue here is up and coming actors/actresses having little or no say while starting off their career. Because if you kick up a fuss in Hollywood, they consider you hard to work with. Once you get that stigma, it's hard to shake off. Now this,I'm more interested in discussing. It's an issue that's got nothing to do with Quentin's love of feet (I personally think that part is tacked on, and waaay less egregious than you're making it out to be, but ehh
)

Okay so the actual issue here is up and coming actors/actresses having little or no say while starting off their career. The difference is that the fetish makes it more personal.
If the director wants to shoot a s***scene with the intention of making it erotic or even p***ographic for the audience, that’s perfectly fine as long as everybody agrees. But I don’t think QT does it for the foot fetish gang, I think he shoots those scenes for his own pleasure.

The way i see it QT is like the soundcloud rappers calling themselfes rockstars. QT is a rockstar among directors ever since he bursted onto the scene with Reservoir Dogs, and what do rockstars do? They show that they dont give a f***
if people say ''his movies too violent!'' he's gonna put even more violent scenes in his films
same for the feet shots
people react to it, and it makes him want to do those scenes even more
it's just a big ''fuck you'' to his haters imo
also as long as his movies keep being these amazing classics then i really dont care about a couple of seconds of feet shots throughout a 2+ hour movie

To me this seems way more likely than QT being a possible predator
he worked with so many people and everybody thinks very highly of him, same as with Nolan. There's some scumbags in hollywood but i don't think Tarantino is one of em. At least not in this sense

Margaret Qualley and Margot Robbie were literally okay with it though. Sharon Tate's estate came out and said Sharon literally walked around barefoot everywhere in the 60's.
