Most deluxes are like 3-4 songs max
streaming has caused younger listeners to be unable to sit with albums for any kind of extended period of time
this is a way to try and rectify that
Is it solely due to streaming? Seems like everyone is doing them now in 2019-

1) a lot of people aren’t dropping right now because the country/world is in a weird place so it’s easier so just throw some throwaway songs on a album you already released. The climate right now is really only responding to conscience music.
