First of all that's an outdated label on the weeknd music because that song, like @op said, is CLEARLY pop. Fast paced synth beat and poppy, catchy vocals and lyrics...

Awards shows would have the Negro Category if they could get away with it. The next best thing is to keep all the blacks away from the white people category by putting their clearly Pop records in the R&B or Rap category. They don't even try to hide it.

Kendrick got his award and bounced, same s*** Drake did. Got his award and called them out then left you don’t see them on the red carpet or in the crowd with everyone else. Jay and Bey didn’t go to the 2020 Grammys or the 2019, idk where you got that they were there from and they won in 2019.
