EMYExactly.......a large reason the artistry in hip hop is being lost is because as it becomes more and more mainstream, more and more people who couldn’t give less of a f*** about the culture are indulging. Thats why instead of getting the Coles and the Kendricks, we getting the 6ix9ines and the Dababys.
But all the good rappers are still dropping music as well, I don’t even consider that rap clown part of hiphop. he’s not part of the real culture and doesn’t even make good music

At the beginning of the 2000s we had legends like Kanye or Wayne and by the end of that decade we had a promising emerging new school in artists like Kendrick and Cole, but at the beginning of this decade the futures looking bleak for rap
