Tragically, the KTT2 Donda Cover Album Thread was moved to Kanye szn last night. And personally, I was wondering what the rationale behind this action was.

In these dark times, I wanted to provide a bright spot for KTT2 users. A few days ago, I sat down and thought what a great idea it would be if we, as a community, covered an album. It would allow users to showcase their creative talent and just be a joyous experience all around. Ultimately, I settled on Donda because of the stems being so easily available.
The thought process behind this was that first of all, the availability of stems would mean a very low entry barrier. Members could choose to simply rap the verse that could be pasted over the beat, or if they were feeling more creative and adventurous, build something more from the ground up. Secondly, Donda was an album that a lot of KTT2 members seem to like and consider a return to form for Kanye. This also was a factor in my choice.

On a forum where creative talent is promoted (artists having their projects stickied in music szn for example), I don’t understand why my thread was moved from music szn to Kanye szn. Were we not deemed artistic enough? I had a lot of fun recording my OTG Carti draft, and seeing so many people join in and have fun really warmed my heart. So what is it that we have done that deserves to have us condemned to Kanye szn? Is there no place for a community feel on KTT2?
