Wouldn’t call it an “era”
He was arguably one of the biggest new acts and one of the faces of SoundCloud rap, but there were people like Trav & XXX who arguably eclipsed him in popularity in that time.
Even his biggest project during that period wasn’t as big as Lil Baby’s
EA did just as good as My Turn, they were close and it had bigger first week sales. If we're talking about era's neither have an album as big as Legends Never Die and all 3 came out last year. Juice Wrld has more streams than both of them with no promo (he's not here to shoot videos and perform).
They all had great runs but if you're talking about who eclipsed who Drake is still dominating.
Album was still dog s***
Ain't that what I said? Don't come in with that energy
Cause Uzi never ran the streets. Baby got the streets + white suburbans listening to him
Uzi never had a era.
He's in the same tier as Travis and Cole popularity wise. Maybe a little less than Travis.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but My Turn did much better long term
Not taking anything away from Juice WRLD because he was and still is very popular, and at the same time, Legends Never Die was a posthumous release
Drake is still dominating, yes, but he’s surpassed the “era” argument. He’s in the Jay-Z conversation where he can drop whenever and be huge

pretty much. he just never had the game on watch, sorta just went with the flow (plus the whole EA never coming out s***)
because his presence makes these hip hop nerds uncomfortable

You’re right
My turn is still moving 25k a week 15 months post release
Uzi was actively being shelved while we was being served leaks to hold us over.
The buzz was there, that all that matters.
