We got a LGBT section for LGBT people why can’t we have a Black section for Black folks, seriously I don’t understand why we can’t have some place we can talk with one another

A couple problems with it really, the first being that how would posters be able to prove they're black in order to first join the section, know what I mean? Second big issue would be, alright if there's a black section then where's a white section, or a Hispanic section, or an Asian section, etc. and all that could eventually cause a divide which we're not really trying to incite.

Fair point, I can't speak for the LGBT section myself but it is my understanding that the section is for those in the community and allies. That's a little different from wanting a section for specific races.

Answering this not because I have authority on it happening or not but some perspective as a black mod.

It would be very difficult imo to manage and verify everyone who’s in the section is actually black. The amount of people who would go out of their way to sneak in. The amount of people who would use a section like this maliciously to try and say things they think they can get away with in a sxn like this. It’s a lot of different things to factor in. A lot of variables. LGBT section is mostly quiet, and not a lot of trolling. We also don’t have to verify people into that section which we would for a black section. The process would be a lot for what would ultimately be like the other sub sections which die down a lot and aren’t very active .

The other thing to mention is everyone on this site is childish. It’s been this way since ktt1. You make this section and then you have every other person who never cared about this kind of thing saying there should be a white section, an Asian section, etc. even if they don’t care in reality, it sets the precedent for special treatment which gives the usual suspects more reasons to whine about mods being corrupt.
