DJ Khaled is a different story my guy. That man has no vision. He recycles the same s*** from his past projects and it's an obvious cash grab. Travis at least wants to put out some artistic statement and knows which rappers go together well and all that s***.

new DJ Khaled is. DJ Khaled albums up until 2015 were good asf though. while there was always somewhat of a cash grab feel to the singles, the album cuts were worth it. especially on Kiss The Ring. then he dropped Suffering From Success the next year as a VICTORY LAP. iconic moment. two back to back great albums

how do we know this isn’t one of those situations where he just added his name to genius and wikipedia to make it seem like he wrote those songs.

I mean how much does anyone really care if Travis came up with 'I can s*** all day diaper'? It's not like Violent Crimes or those Drake songs that have thoughtful lyrics

i’ve seen people say that QM wasn’t credited until after it was exposed but i don’t have screenshots to prove that. but for RICO specifically, Meek claims Drake never told him to give QM writing credits, which does make him a legit ghostwriter even if the whole credits being added on IYRTITL after the exposal thing is questionable

Kanye solo song first, then an open verse was added to the instrumental where Travis’s verse would eventually go, and Sean Price’s vocals were shown with the Date Created property to have been recorded before Travis’s were

& even if you doubt all that, he’s literally credited for writing on Rodeo multiple times, with one of those credits being for POYG

you don’t know exactly how Wale’s version would’ve sounded to say that Travis’s is better, and you’re also giving Travis credit for Mike Dean’s work on mixing the song & adding to the production

Travis doesn’t imply that he’s the best rapper in the game the way Drake does. It’s as simple as that.

Same reason Kanye doesn’t get criticized for having writers as much as Drake does. Imagine if Hov had writers despite all of the times he’s claimed to be the best rapper alive
