This is the digital future. Just 10 years of service and your games can be disabled. 3DS was an infintely more popular system compared to Wii U that I'm sure lots of people still play and they're also getting the shaft.

I think some people are making private servers so hopefully you can still play with others.

Pretendo servers will still run games like mario maker. And you can home brew or hack your Wiiu or whatever and get every game. I was sad about it at first, but in reality it doesnt change much. Wiiu most underrated console and era of Nintendo oat
