As in 90s or 2000s internet.

Where advertising and such is still irl and internet is used for specific needs and entertainment.

Because eventually, as its already starting, AI bots are becoming bigger and bigger and swarming over real people.

Meaning? Your advertisements are not being seen by real eyes, your social posts arent being seen by your friends, lot of photos/videos/news are fake etc.

Will it bring back the newspaper and magazines, for example, since you can only know real companies in real life not online? Push people more outside since most your friends will miss your posts and that cute girl you dont know might be a bot so you have to go see a girl irl?

Theres more i want to expand on but its a thought i just had and started putting together.

Is this the yang to the yin of AI and dead internet theory? Is this the technically good in the bad? The everything happens for a reason?

AI will enter a stricter regulation phase but honestly, it's kinda proving that it's got some ways to go before it's actually efficient/indispensable

Most of what you’re expressing, people don’t even know exists. Things will be par for the course and we’ll just continue but now interacting with bots that know how to interact with us. Niggas is even more locked inside with streaming. It’s over dawg lmfao

    Companies know

Why would they continue ads in a space where for sake of the argument, only 30 percent of impressions is real

I am not only talking from the fake spookiness, im also talking practical

Why would artists post their music if no one real isnt seeing it

    Etc.

I mean one of the reasons companies pulled out of twitter ads is because elon wont do anything about the huge bot and ai priblem, so its my theory just on a smaller scale already

Idk I just don’t see it especially when you got companies like Microsoft running commercials about AI use at work and the financial news channels having segments dedicated to AI and how it’s been beneficial

Regulation wont stop the bots programs already nor criminal

Regulations will only control legal and mass uses of it and of course punishable laws breakers that get found for using malicious ai/bots (which should happen i agreeL

But it wont stop whats already here and the market for it, it will be a wildwest graveyard like ktt1 or corners of twitters

  • Aug 31, 2024

I can see official news media either 1. go fully subscription where everything is literally only in the inside not extported anywhere else or 2. News go back to tv/physical so they have the say to say we are not online

These will help them legally and perhaps their rep

By going more insular of their own ecosytem and/or only being "on real life" it automatically shows to those in the know and especially the GOVT that the random ish online is not and cant be them at all

    Thats another example/thought

If i was hitting somebody up fr and they turned out to be a robot i think id kill myself on the spot

Anyways if any of you have any creative or business insterest and aspirations then you better due within 5 years and claim your small piece of the internet before it doesnt matter and gets swallowed up

In 5 years AI and bots will be overflowing and will be incredibly hard for people not already part of a business to make some noise or attention

If your aspirations fail who gives af its only 5 years its not like your life is completely over they will still accept you at the AI maintenance job

You have a good point. I’ve been thinking about this too, it’s hard to know how it will play out.

But yes I think in-person activities in general will see an increase (for older generation at least) & this is where some new business opportunities will arise again.

I’m not sure about kids who are raised on the internet using tik tok etc. if they will leave. Since it’s a huge part of their developmental years. Someone suggested to me that the younger generation won’t care that they’re interacting with ai instead of humans.
