polymarket.com/market/will-kanye-wests-donda-sell-more-than-250k-units-in-its-first-week
You think Ye will break 250k units first week?
I just put a good amount onto "Yes" so lets all stream and buy the s*** out of it when it drops please
also if your not on polymarket yet there are a couple Kanye markets that are pretty cool
s*** will go triple or double plat
I meant triple wood or double plat
if it does ~300m streams and sells ~50k pure then yes. kanye could easily do 100k+ pure but he'd need physicals which obviously can't be produced as fast as they would need to be to meet the august 6th release date.
Sell like for actual money? No, even if there's a physical preorder. Stream equivalent units? Yes, if there are two or three serious bangers that non stans listen to. Heaven and Hell will be one of them.

Do physical presales not count until they're shipped out?

not since billboard changed the rules, no. that's why some artists (like billie, lorde, and halsey) have like two or three months between their albums being announced and being released, so they can have all their physicals ready to ship first week. it's pretty much the opposite of how kanye works these days lol.

So is this the workaround for bundles?

yeah, but it's nowhere near as unethical as bundles, since people are actually buying physical copies of the albums. with bundles it was merch with a digital download, it was obvious what people were actually buying lol.
300-500k

agreed but tbh I'm sure defjam has the connections to get physicals made in 2-3 days
