One hit K.O on this one, scratching the itch nicely
Flipped that Lemon D classic
i've thought about it all year and i think the main thing behind this beat block i'm in is the feeling of not being able to compete with the new blood or even my own peers :/
feel like my songs are s*** compared to everyone elses

Do you feel like there’s added pressure on you because of social media?

Yeah tbh. TikTok somehow figured out I was a junglist and started showing me jungle producers and it demotivated me tbh. I'm not even gonna lie.
Young cats too. The last release I did that got pressed on vinyl was with my guy ontology and he was like 17 or 18 when he mad his record. Monster track. That s*** f***ed me up. I was like damn this dude better than me and I'm up a decade on him lmao
Every week I get someone tagging me on Instagram with my Vinyl that they bought and that's what keeps me wanting to stick with it.
I did the final mix on one of the records on my two track ep imma release soon.
This beat block s*** is dead. Writing this s*** out actually helped me break it a lil bit.
It's over for these niggas.

I love to see it, that’s the spirit
Speaking of writing things out, something that helped me is to keep a journal with different categories (effects, drum humanization methods, sample chop techniques, etc.). When I hear a dope track with a technique I haven’t used yet I write it down. If I go into my workflow with a blank slate (and maybe a sample), I can always refer to my journal to spark some ideas

Man I feel you. It always helps me to think about my process. You’ll hear finished products that are absolutely bananas. But if someone were to view your beat breakdowns as an unbiased third party they’d think it’s nuts too. Nobody can do what you do, period. You bring something unique to the table!

I appreciate you man. I really do. This has helped me a lot.
