TheoryAdding 2 days wouldn’t have doubled the numbers though. Friday and Saturday’s are big because they’re usually the first days, Donda’s Sunday probably wasn’t too far off from what his Friday would’ve looked like. I think dropping on Friday would’ve increased sales by about 20%

Kendrick have always sold because be physical game was crazy. I don't think the type of albums be makes, lends themselves to being streamed as mu h as like non conceptual albums.
I think in the long term it will sell well but first week is about two Things.

He's projected to do 375k SEA only, not including pure sales. Lets say he does 75k pure, which takes it too 450k. Now add the 2.5 days he's missed you think a extra 150k is too much?

I honestly view this Kanye album as an outlier due to the circumstances around it (not taking anything away from it) so I feel like it skews perception a little bit, but Kendrick and Travis are probably the only other two hip hop artists I feel comfortable saying they’ll clear over 300k. I’m hoping Kendrick’s success will translate in this era, and based on the anticipation I think it’ll do that for sure
