it was a clear radio attempt, i just don't get why he grabbed kendrick for it. Asking Kendrick to be on your lighthearted radio song is like asking Taylor Swift to be on a song about happy, steady, relationships.

DAMN was a disgrace to what Kendrick was building up in terms of a perfect discography. He also betrayed himself and his socially conscious fanbase by releasing a waterdowned commercial album.
Kanye West didn't let fear get in the way and made a beautiful religious and SPIRITUALLY conscious album. I will always love Kanye for releasing JIK and giving us God Fearing music listeners an outlet for thoughtful and complex God-driven albums.
Lucy got hold of Kendrick and he let her f*** him in the ass these past few years. His label boss and wife are also demon-leeching devils based on that infamous KTT1 thread.

TPAB was made to raise the black community out of the vicious cycle created by the white man society. Read the a***ysis of that album and the commentary it had on the industry and black society in general. Black communities rejected his message and that's why he made DAMN.
