ok just wanted to add the instrument just to be immature but I love MJ he's one of my favorite artist but there were a lot of artist in his time that were more cutting edge to me. MJ was able to make some of the highest quality accessible pop music for his time though

as an music icon probably not. MJ will easily go down as the biggest artist to ever live but if we want to have a discussion just about music, discography and the whole nine I feel like ppl are neglecting a lot of artist.

Thriller is an amazing album. It’s one of the best albums of all time. However a lot his other music is honestly pop fluff. So many other pop artists have surpassed him when it comes to quality.
