with Travis Scott performing in fortnite and Charli in Minecraft and everyone getting hyped about it will more artists start joining in on this trend? IMO I rather pay to watch a concert from home plus it’s dope you’d get some items for your online character so it’s like some merch

why would you rather go to a virtual concert over a real one?

the convenience does not even come close to outweighing the loss of everything that makes a concert great

It's going to be the new normal in the live music scene until it's safer to get back out in the circuit yes (whether it's virtual or an at-home/closed-venue online stream). I'd also expect more of them to be monetized
