Idk man it just keeps getting better n better,

  • Dec 1, 2020

No, because it's because times changed and rap music has progressively got worse. Because there's not much artists who try to come up with new musical ideas nowadays, and if they do, it can be either be fire or garbage. I'm not saying artists should be experimentalists when it comes to music, but rappers back then had at least a vision on how they want their music to stand from the rest, and most of those times, it was really dope af. A lot of these niggas these days are just Wayne and Future clones, with specks of artists that are influenced by Ye, Cudi, and Pharrell.

all these lowkey artists are amazing, out of touch folks really missing out. cant even say its just a experimental/dusthead thing, mainstream is also sleeping on people with star potential like Drakeo The Ruler

  • Dec 1, 2020

Word, and I don’t even blame people for being “out of touch,” it’s just having different tastes yfm? I personally don’t enjoy many mainstream artists, but I know some would easily argue it’s doing well

But yeah underground rap is f***ing ridiculous rn.

yeah a lot of artists def slip under my radar even with consistently browsing KTT. it happens to me a lot that either an artist doesn't click with me first listen or I don't attach their names with a song I heard from them, like a feature or a song from them I listened to because of the feature.

Yeah well put. I feel the same tbh, that happens to me too. I’m barely invested in more popular rap, but I do like some drill s*** tbh
