airricdepends on if you care about relevancy or quality more
both started with 2 great albums, then went downhill a little bit. i actually like the last 2 cudi albums, but theyre nowhere near his first 2.
on the other hand, you could say Lu's last 2 real albums (T&Y/Wave) are in his top 3...
not to mention, Ye's engineer saying Lu's next album is the best rap album he's ever worked on
lu still making quality, but of course cudi is still more in the public eye since he acts and does s*** with kanye
I love Tetsuo with all my heart
the things after that fell flat to me tbh but I can recognize quality there still
Im really curious about his next album
cudi tho, I love KSG but MOTM3 is complete trash to me, possibly worst than SB2H, at least that showed creativity

Cudi makes McDonalds and pretending otherwise is absurd. He's not a great singer, his music isn't deep, it's not like he's an amazing songwriter. He has an idiosyncratic hum and makes easy listening bullshit for stoners. Nothing wrong with that but don't weigh it against one of the undisputed best pens in hip-hop history
