Tickets prices for the tour, which includes stops in 30 North American cities, rose from a minimum of $46 per ticket on March 18 to a whopping minimum of $341 on secondary market platform TickPick since the Academy Awards drama, Variety reported.

And this is why you don't turn the Oscars into The Fat Black P****cat

If it’s deeper it’s none of our business lol I just don’t see how this became a debate but I guess everyone feels obligated to take sides on anything that happens

I don’t see what’s wrong with taking a side it’s just your opinion on the situation

Chris Rock STILL ain't made a statement lol. Kinda surprised tbh. If he does itll be short and sweet. He prolly dont care much but I'm sure he probably lost respect for Will after tgat, at least to a degree. Doesnt mean he wont/cant accept his apology though.

He has a show in Boston tomorrow.

I know the convo ded, but has no one acknowledged that most of y'all are defending Jada from the joke when she has done worse to Will for the past two years

The internet turns into the PC police for any matter so quickly lol

Folks been bringing this up and this been addressed and the general consensus is that if Will still wants to be with her that’s his business lol the way the public sees her is not how he sees her and if we being real it’s not even our business like that if he stays or not lmao

all this proves is oscar’s need security for their events.

unless the academy & other media award ceremonies want this incident to happen

you didn’t really want will smith to react a certain way, did you?

    they got tons of security

its just not used against the celebrities

You should’ve been in here earlier somebody says Chris not retaliating was a W

Nothing about this is a W for Chris. If you want sympathy then I guess yea.

But I’d rather joke about how I had a brawl wit Will Smith at the Oscars then joke about how I got b**** slapped and stood there.

It’s not a W for anyone involved the whole thing is embarrassing

Technically the hike in ticket prices for his tour is a huge W....everything else a BRUTAL L, dude gonna be watching that moment back both in his head and on tv the rest of his career

No it’s not a bigger L for Will.

Getting slapped by a grown ass man and standing there is a L. A massive L. You don’t have to be tough to defend yourself.

Chris Rock is already paid and already a super legend in his field. Ticket sales don’t matter for him at the end of the day.

That picture of him getting the fire slapped out of him will live on forever and that’s wild lmao

Nah, I’d much rather watch Chris take the hit, keep his composure and continue on rather than watch two black men brawl on national television at the Oscars and have white America make subtle but not-so-subtle racist commentary about it for the next year.

Staying calm and collected in a situation like that is 100% harder than responding with anger, so I commend Chris for being able to do so
