Ye went up and grabbed a mic and said Taylor didn’t deserve the Female Video of the Year (which MTV later agreed with by giving Beyoncé the overall Video of the Year award) and they kicked him out 15 mins later even though he had more nominations.
Will flat out assaulted a presenter and they let him stay in the auditorium and even let him accept an award and give a speech.
