F*** that imperialist liberal swine. He is no socialist.
The rags to riches story is easily the most common in all of rap music and plays into the American Dream/ Capitalist ideology perfectly. But I wonder, will artists ever start talking about distributing wealth and then it blows up? The ideology seems more popular than ever and the Zoomers are becoming disillusioned with Capitalism so I wonder if a shift will ever happened. I think the American Dream is so ingrained with hip-hop and the culture that the socialist type of rap would only probably blow up as a meme but could it ever make an actual splash?
