The "beef" is mostly from Drake stans mad that Abel snaked out on the OVO deal and Weeknd stans feeling competitive and mad that Drake is still the bigger artist. Drake and Abel are very cool. There could already be songs made we haven't heard yet from them

They are just in very different lanes musically, and they both know that a collab would need to be top quality on both sides. That kind of pressure probably has prevented any attempts to come to life. I think it'll happen down the line, when their careers are slowing down and they can take some bigger risks
