I have a feeling this would overload the neurons big time and cause mental breakdowns

People can already barely handle the informational intake of normal internet

My question is, how does this work?

Like how in 2020 do we understand enough about the human brain (or animal brains) to just sent some electric stimulation to certain parts of it and that causes the brain to learn skills? Or even as Musk is talking about in the interview, access certain memories by using your brain like a computer hard drive?

It all sounds like magic to me, because using an electrical device (a machine) to connect with your brain (organic matter) doesn't make sense.

What happens when one of us inevitably downloads "piano for dummies" and it's actually horse p*** or some s***

even scarier thought, brain implants would have to potentially open the door to viruses/hackers literally getting access to your brain

what if the next form of malware is some asian kid programming code to make you have a seizure? spooky
