Ether came out 3 months after Takeover
Drake is the one who made 4 days the new minimum
I don't think you'd be saying this if it was on a Metro beat. Cole takes a traditional route and now he's somehow bored AND stressed (how can you be both at the same time) and he has a sleepy delivery? This might be rap track of the year when it's all said and done ngl but that's my opinion
It’s almost like Metro is a way better producer lmao no s***
black women win every time you should know this
wtf Cole & Kendrick really could say to her
I do know that my friend but Cole seemed not to
Pusha really got to Drake, man’s done literally everything except release a response
It’s almost like Metro is a way better producer lmao no s***
He's a trendy producer but we'll see how his stuff ages. Mustard was considered a "better producer" once but now you'd be hard to find anyone putting him up there with the likes of Timbaland or Pharrell. When I said Cole took a traditional route I meant he didn't hop on a trendy pop rap beat and personally I like it but again it's subjective
If you like the current rap sound landscape you'll prefer Like That more but Cole wasn't aiming for a club anthem and he wasn't trying to please someone like BRAVE who obviously prefers the trendy sound

yeah man trendy producer metro totally hasnt been around for 10+ years no way
Pusha really got to Drake, man’s done literally everything except release a response
Kendrick better off taking the loss. Cole perfectly annihilated every fiber of his being
It's a lot of little subliminals if you pay attention to Cole's verse and some songs he's released (Kendrick won't say his name but its definitely aimed at him)
Compare their verses from FPS and Like That. Cole talks about turning your song to a funeral and mentions the big three saying he's U N O. Kendrick brings up coughing but it's a play on words as it's also coffin. Because he takes Cole's verse as talking recklessly and then flips UNO into D O T and mentions money power and respect. Towards the end he mentions STICK and PTSD the titles of J Cole songs
First-person shooter mode, we turnin' your song to a funeral
To them niggas that say they wan' off us, you better be talkin' 'bout workin' in cubicles
Yeah, them boys had it locked, but I knew the code
Lot of niggas debatin' my numeral
Not the three, not the two, I'm the U-N-O
Yeah
Numero U-N-O
These niggas talkin' out of they necks
Don't pull no coffin out of your mouth, I'm way too paranoid for a threat
Ayy-ayy, let's get it, bro
D-O-T, the money, power, respect
The last one is better
Say, it's a lot of goofies with a check
I mean, ah, I hope them sentiments symbolic
Ah, my temperament bipolar, I choose violence?
Okay, let's get it up, it's time for him to prove that he's a problem*
Niggas clickin' up, but cannot be legit, no 40 Water, tell 'em
Ah, yeah, huh, yeah, get up with me
Fuck sneak dissin', first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches
I crash out like, "Fuck rap," diss Melle Mel if I had to
Got 2TEEZ with me, I'm snatchin' chains and burnin' tattoos, it's up
Lost too many soldiers not to play it safe
If he walk around with that stick, it ain't André 3K
Think I won't drop the location? I still got PTSD
Motherfuck the big three, nigga, it's just big me
Nigga, bum
The Kendrick verse is overrated as f*** man lmao
My opinion nigga fck off
Nah nigga you know damn well this aint the case lmao. big fan of all 3 but cmon man lmao

7 minute drill clears imagine thinking for myself and not going with the narrative lmao
You guys should really let Doot or someone speak for you. He's one of the only funny Drake fans.
The Kendrick verse is overrated as f*** man lmao
He really doesn't even say anything mind blowing outside of the big me bar
Update the title @Darkest_Angel
I'm sure Dot wasn't expecting Cole to capitalize on the beef with a surprise album before he could even drop the follow up track he's saving for Drake. With him caught off guard will he throw a hail Mary of his own or is he better off ducking Cole until Drake responds too?
A surprise EP or mixtape could definitely help him win some goodwill back from the public after the MMBS reception and put pressure on Drake to drop an album too. Imagine the old big 3 all dropping back to back to back
