Luckily Drake was one of the last superstars to build up a loyal following before streaming so I think that'll help him maintain a solid first week.

With Scorpion we've seen how the decline of physical sales impacted his first week numbers. He dropped from 852,000 pure sales fw for VIEWS to 160,000 pure sales fw for Scorpion so that's a trend we should expect to continue for this next album. Only way to offset this is to do bundles which he's never done in the past.

In terms of capturing the attention of the internet, we've seen recently with When To Say When / Chicago, Life is Good, War that Drake is still the most culturally relevant rapper. Anytime he drops the world stops and listens and it should be no different this album. People are still invested in the story of Drake.
