Years before Carti even adopted the baby voice X was riding on these bass driven beats with a raspy voice since 2016, before even Cartis debut. Stop breathing, JumpOutTheHouse, New Tank, Teen X, On that time, all X songs without the juice and dont even get me started on songs like Beno, & F33l like3 dying

I can’t let everybody bash Carti rn, he Raged on WLR, but Carti’s music is blacker than X’s
X’s music isn’t black

Yes X is better overall
But certain songs on WLR is equal to and better than Xs songs/short albums

“Rockstar made” (he took robb banks adlibs)

The only 1up Carti has on X is making a full length rage album

Theres a line between influence and Rip off. Carti still maintained his style on wlr but I can hear the X influence on certain songs
