Freshman in college.
My roommate wanted to go down to the basketball court to shoot.
this leaked and he had to wait 1 1/2 hours.
Came back to the dorm and pulled an all nighter just listening to this over and over again.
Spent that Summer just driving around aimlessly listening to this.
mannnn I was so hyped waiting for this to come out
My favorite Tyler album ever
Flower Boy for me but Wolf is amazing too.
Tyler music sounds better in the spring and summer imo
this is when I noticed the change in Tyler.
Same this is when the whole pretty chords Tyler started and you started really seeing him being as much of a producer as a rapper.
Wolf is definitely the perfect Tyler album, it's like Tyler's version of MOTM2 in terms of overall emotions and atmosphere.
I know it's odd, but both of those albums display such raw and deep emotions.
never thought about it like that damn MOTM 2 my favorite Cudi album have to revisit Wolf. I remember liking it a lot though. Colossus and Answer got a lot of spins
remember when i heard the alt version on DJ Stankdaddy's Summer Camp Mix for the first time. favorite on the album.
honestly wish i was
Outdone his production with each new release
Made Golfwang bigger than ever
Made Carnival one of the biggest festivals ever
Multiple acting roles
Scored for The Grinch
Just scored a Coca-Cola Commercial
Won a Grammy
but go on
I feel like Wolf is a 50/50 mixture of hardcore Tyler and "soft" Tyler, I like the album, the era was great as well, but IMO has very little replay value. I put this below Goblin, Igor and B****** in my list
Honestly the Summer Camp mixes influenced 90% of my current music taste
i feel that... found some cool gems through those mixes man... and also got to hear exclusive snippets feels like yesterday

So many tracks that I discovered through that and was introduced to Toro (my first concert)
Definitely my favorite Tyler era
