If you choose to be a cop, youre choosing to risk your life yes, but that isn’t the same thing as sacrificing your life over idiots who don’t listen to you.

It is also unfair to compare police in the US to police in these small European countries which are so wildly different in homelessness, crime, gun/weapon ownership rates. Honestly more often than not, cops in America aren’t even as armed to the teeth as the people they are stopping on the road. It’s a very different kind of reality here that you can’t compare anywhere else for policing
