think most of it will be soft reboot s***. like not completely rebooted where we have origin stories and all. except maybe the aquaman movie(s). I do like the ideal of Pattinson Batman being the first film in the ‘new’ universe but like what’s even the point of all of the films releasing next year now lol? with the exception of blue beetle which I figure is a stand alone contained story within the new DCU

Some people just want the movies to stand on their own as self-contained stories. Can't be mad at that. Interconnected films are nice too, just down to personal taste.

I agree there's a way to do both, but WB is being shortsighted caring more about money and thinking what Marvel has is interconnectivity when they also have their own studio and good management. That's always been their problem, not the talent they hired.
