S*** happens in comics all the time. Characters will have similar histories to their prior version but are still technically new. Superman’s origin never changes. It’s going to be assumed that a similar version of the first seasons events happened in the DCU with some changes (likely that Justice League cameo at the end not happening).

I get that but I think they should prioritize refreshing the brand rather than continuing to muddy the waters. I’m not mad if some characters and actors return but I don’t think the move right now is “let’s film another season of Peacemaker” before the reset even gets off the ground
