im staunchly anti-merger, but the DCU deserves better than a Batman brought to life by the mind behind The Flash (2023)

Now if it came out and they said someone like Sam Raimi is doing Brave and the Bold, that is one huge hurdle cleared. The next would be not casting Brandon Skinner or whatever his name is

Muschietti was like the 6th director WB hired to make the movie since they announced it for the DCEU slate. Multiple scripts, rewrites, even Ezra Miller presented a script (also imagine having to promote a movie without using the main actor on it lol)

Henry Braham, the DP of Flash, worked on The Suicide Squad and Superman. You don't think he spoke with Gunn about the production of the film? If anything, Gunn maybe thinks Muschietti made the best he could despite the studio issues and the Ezra Miller scandal

Flash’s problems go way beyond him aside from the cgi cameos

I genuinely cant understand the hype this guy is getting as a fan cast

Every clip ive seen of him has been unimpressive to stay polite

Yeah I don't think muschietti had final say on a lot of stuff in the flash I think he did the best he could given the circumstances.
It was mainly the s***ty cgi that makes it a bad movie

Why do you dislike him so much

I don’t think the flash is as awful as people say personally

I’m not a super fan either but the It movies were solid as well and looked good

I’m not a fan of how he shot Batman in particular

Both Ben and Keaton. I don’t know, it felt kind of dull to me.

It is more in his element it built off of what he did with Mama.

In comparison I feel that James Wan is a much better horror turned action director
