Burton’s Gotham was one of the few times Gotham looked like a totally fictional city. The movies were technically set in the years they came out, but nothing in the movies really specifies a time period. Don’t recall it ever really specifying Bruce’s age either. Also, the canon from that series shouldn’t really hold back a Beyond spin-off imo.

I don’t think they’d need to really explain how much time has passed or how the city is futuristic. Burton’s Gotham could be set in 2022 and look like Blade Runner. It’s not set in our universe

Sure he did. BvS is one of the worst superhero films ever made that only exists to sloppily kick of dcu. Would have taken MoS 2 over it any day.
