All those big actors in such s*** films that literally wasted their talent, kinda makes it more sad.
After watching the newest spiderman, 8/10 from me, Gunn needs to bring post credit scenes back, that’s what connects films to the bigger universe and it’s a reward for the fans

Spider Man Brand New Day has the laziest post credit scene. Also Supergirl the final scene with superman is basically a post credits scene before the credits. It goes from wrapping up the story she just experienced to back on earth foreshadowing the events of Mna of tomorrow. Whether people sit til after the credits or see it before doesnt make a diference.

Very much L take because besides the communal moment of sitting with the films ending Brand New Days post credit scene wasnt great.
Having Juggernauts doesnt matter if the writing , direction and plan isnt great. Simply having a bunch of stars doesn't make a great universe or movie. Also makes it extremely more costly to produce and schedule.

Yeah really only ironman 1 end credits was badass
After that i prefer the comedic ones like shwarma and bruce campbell

Gunn shouldnt aim to emulate the MCU . When through lanterns and Superman he is showing you dont have to show origin. You can use stortyelling. his flaw with supergirl to me is triyng to adapt a comic book. When everything else we have seen isnt adaptation. Clayface draws inspiration from a run in comic and animated series but its own story. That fits in the DCU. When you do adaptations at times you are doing fan service and so much can go wrong. Which it did.

Not just adapting the comic but half assidly doing it

I dont think they should have adapted the comic at all even if faithful to the comic. The comic was its own thing. MCU has succeeded partially because its never like "okay we are adapting this comic arc 1 for 1 with no major changes to fit into the universe in the second movie of our universe". That doesnt even make sense. The only thing people knew of Supergirl going into it was her calling Superman a B**** at the end of his movie
