i think patty jenkins got too up her own ass after the success of the first film (which i liked for the most part)

and ended up thinking she can helm this whole thing herself without any help.

a follow up to the first WW film should've been the easiest thing to write plot-wise. so much of what the sequel should've been was setup by the end of WW that the story writes itself.

but her hubris got in the way and what we ended up getting is a turd cake.

Coulda told a story during the Cold War or even Vietnam. This movie was all aesthetic vibes, and no writing
